You will be responsible for the finance function at Frome Livestock Market, one of the largest and busiest livestock centres in the South of England. 

Main duties include overseeing accounts functions, controlling and reporting on the cash flow. Preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary, budget forecasting, cash flow management, profit and loss, balance sheet reconciliation, and heavy debt control. Payroll supervision on Sage payroll, staff expenses, VAT returns, HM Revenue and Customs. Basic knowledge of HR, assisting with sickness and performance management.  Presenting accounts to the executive board on a monthly basis.

Full time or part time hours would be considered.

What you'll need to succeed
5 years experience within accounts department, an accounting qualification, AAT Level 4, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent, working knowledge of Payroll preparation, experience with statistics and understand the agricultural industry.
